if the romance and politics was more fleshed out in book one this would’ve been fine. it wasn’t so back and forth between mmcs felt weird. the war kinda feels fake? not really just that i don’t feel the stakes. i do enjoy it in sterilized tv kinda way but it could’ve been better. anyway will cont.
