A Line to Kill by Anthony Horowitz
4.0

I absolutely adore Anthony Horowitz and all his books. For some reason though, I didn't get the feel like I normally do while reading this novel.

I'm not sure if is because of how he wrote himself almost being the "bad guy" this time around because everyone absolutely loved Hawthorne the whole time. It was almost like Hawthorne could do no wrong! But because I have read the other books previously and had the very little background information, I have the opinion that Hawthorne is a "good ol' boy." Or at least that's what he wants Anthony to believe... And because we read the novel through Anthony's eyes that is what the reader is suggested to believe as well.

I was surprised at the end. But I just wasn't into it. I'm not sure if it was because of the mood I was in today or if it was because the book was lacking something... special...
