With a plot twist I didn't see coming, Piper Rayne pens a wonderful story of enemies to lovers, holiday and family. Falling in love with this couple is easy. Tessa is a little scattered, but she is trying to get her life back on track. Easy to relate to, she is a wonderful character. Tre is grumpy! Love that quality in a man, he is structured and with Tessa entering his life, it's nothing but chaos for him. These two had me from the start. Add in his incredible family and sugar cookies and I am sold. This is a great way to start the holiday season!
Lee Samuels takes on the grumpy Tre with such ease, I may think he is that personality! His gruff exterior for this man is perfect, aiding in his need to be organized and slight self confidence issue. Brooke Bloomingdale is the perky Tessa, ready to take on the adventure and seek her future. These two are perfectly cast and made this story a pleasure to hear.
