Bones of the Lost by Kathy Reichs

5.0

Started this November 18th, 2013.
As usual gripping from the beginning, although the first chapter was familiar: I already read it in the novella [b:Bones In Her Pocket|18135613|Bones In Her Pocket (Temperance Brennan, #15.5)|Kathy Reichs|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1373495841s/18135613.jpg|25476304], my mistake for reading this before getting this book.
Page-Turner, expect to finish it as soon.
Wow, great, as most of her books. Complicated, everything explained and solved.
Compared to some lesser books I read this year, my favorite authors still remain top notch, and no new authors in sight who are as good as them (in this genre) - in no particular order: Kathy Reichs of course, [a:Lisa Gardner|18282|Lisa Gardner|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1256576734p2/18282.jpg], [a:Tess Gerritsen|18149|Tess Gerritsen|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1232921887p2/18149.jpg], [a:Mo Hayder|74876|Mo Hayder|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1327274083p2/74876.jpg] (not all books good), [a:Simon Beckett|26024|Simon Beckett|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1356716400p2/26024.jpg] (only the later David Hunter-Series, not the other ones so far and has not published a new one for quite some time) and .[a:Val McDermid|5672|Val McDermid|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1241725522p2/5672.jpg] (some are lighter reading, but all are worthwhile, recommend the Tony Hill/Wire in the Blood-Series).
So a hint from me how to stop reading Kathy Reichs and get some sleep if it is too late: do not finish a chapter, but stop in between. The chapters end usually on a cliffhanger that urges you to read on to solve it. Else you are in danger of reading the book in on long, sleepless night. Whatever.
Highly recommended page-turner.
