Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke

hopeful inspiring reflective relaxing fast-paced

5.0

This feels like one of the first self-help books ever written as it centers mostly on finding yourself, discovering your values, listening and honoring your emotions (which includes facing the difficult ones, too) rather than choosing to fill your days with distraction and escapism.

The author encourages the reader to be patient in the process and in the journey of developing yourself, and to stick to your truth and purpose above everyone else’s views, voices, and opinions.

Easy encouraging read.
