The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
2.0
I loved the first 40% of this book. It started as a cozy, little slice of life ode to books and book lovers about a woman trying to open her own little book van in the Scottish highlands. It was lovely and wholesome.
A little before halfway, it turned into a completely different book with a storyline that was all over the place, random unnecessary side plots, long drawn out scenes, no longer about the book shop/van, and completely different vibes the first half of the book. The naive main character became insufferable and felt like a bad contemporary romance with unlikeable characters.
