Pachinko by Min Jin Lee

Did not finish book.

I have been trying to read this off and on since January and I cannot get myself to pick it up and read it. I have restarted it several times hoping that I could get farther but I couldn't make it past chapter 5. I just have been struggling to want to read it, the story is not engaging and it felt like a chore to read even though the early chapters are pretty short. And I get that in most books the first few chapters need to find their footing but I just couldn't bring myself to read I found other things I wanted to read over it.
