This book tackled racism and the experiences of being Black in America in such a thought-provoking way. The ending had me gasping, and the epilogue hit just as hard. This story made me sad, but more than that, it made me want to stand up and do more against injustice. Books like this are important—they open eyes, start conversations, and remind us why we have to keep pushing for change.
