Book 62: Fresh Ink: An Anthology edited by Lamar Giles

Copied from Amazon: In partnership with We Need Diverse Books, thirteen of the most recognizable, diverse authors come together in this remarkable YA anthology featuring ten short stories, a graphic short story, and a one-act play from Walter Dean Myers never before in-print.

I found this book looking for Jason Reynolds books I had not read. Some of the stories were amazing, Tags, Kodama's Ramen Shop, and Super Human. Some good stories, others ehh, leaving me with a good book. The book is good for those times when you are busy and can only read 10-20 pages at a clip and you have a complete story.

The stories were very engaging and did give a diverse group of people to cheer. I do recommend this book to diversify your reading portfolio and maybe add a couple of authors to your TBR lists. The Jason Reynolds story was not one of my favorites, but pick up three other authors I am excited to read.
