Don't Let Me Go by Susan Lewis

5.0

I read this without realizing it was actually a sequel- and honestly it works just fine as a stand one novel, although a few minor details and plot points don't get explained until 2/3 through the novel because they were (I assume) plot points of the first book.
Charlotte is a former social worker who has taken refuge in New Zealand at her family estate after deciding to keep a child she was the case worker for. Much if the book revolves around the subsequent court case as she fights to proclaim her innocence.
