Probably like a 4.5 for me but can’t help but round up.
Read the book while listening to the author’s audiobook narration and wow felt like she perfectly varied the strength, tone, accent and pitch of all the character’s voices (esp the female lead). Admittedly, the very last chapter was questionable and there were some issues i prayed would be resolved properly but were kinda just swept to the side and/or haphazardly closed. Still, was a really good (midnight) read!
