This book had me in its grip from the first page. It's heartbreaking, romantic, gut-wrenching, thrilling, and so much more. Seeing Vietnam through the eyes of a female nurse, as well as her struggles upon returning to the US, was truly eye-opening and really taught me a lot about that period of time. I will definitely be reading this again.
