This book needed another round of edits.

Not only is there a lot of spelling errors and just general weird things that needed to be cut out or fixed before publishing but also, WHY DOES THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK EXIST? I don't understand what was the reason for the characters to go on this roadtrip that took a huge chunk of the book but did not offer them any answers or solutions. It was only so that there was time for the two of them to bond. They were just running around pretending to do something.

And then there's the huge glaring fact that the FMC is really not as cold-blooded killer as the author tries to make her out to be. Supposedly, she's this agent of death and chaos but all I've seen is her being very regular, sassy, maybe mildly bitchy woman who loves her sister above everything else. It really doesn't go well when you try to express her murderous side and then explain how she cries at sad movies. It's silly. I had to give up trying to believe her to be all that just to enjoy the rest of the book.
