Unbreakable by A.J. Moran

They thought they had succeeded in protecting Juliana from The Society with the death of Oliver’s father. However, there are other, even more dangerous, players who still want Juliana and her mates. We were left at the end of book one with Tristan, the demon prince, abducting her from Oliver’s house as she is looking for Jacob’s curse. He takes her to Tartus and removes all access to her bonded mates. He wants her to use her powers to bring souls to the demons for procreation and to take the role of the Queen of Tartus by his side. But does he love Juliana or hate her – the witch that pulled him through a mirror so many years before and was his best friend while he was stuck on earth? Is he willing to let her go to be with her mates, or will he hold on to her and keep their friendship from ever recovering?
This book was just as gripping as the first in the trilogy. Watching Tristan wrestle with his true feelings towards Juliana was deliciously painful. Did he hate her, or did he love her more than anything? Was he ever going to admit his feelings, or would he just let her walk away? Their dynamic was completely different from how her relationships with her fated mates were formed.
I loved seeing the growth in the relationships between Juliana and her fated mates. Going beyond what the Fates had forced upon them, they formed true bonds, both with Juliana and between each other. The best part was watching Gage’s wolf lay claim to the entire group as his pack. I cannot wait until he finally claims them all, hopefully in a hot group s3x scene in the next book.
Danger is around every turn, and this book leaves us at a cliffhanger even worse than book one. I need the next book, stat!
