I cannot really say how quickly I must have read this entire duology, let alone the second book now. Yet here I am, eyes strained from tears, lungs a little tired from sobs and laughter and  veins filled with magic. 
This is a book series which is sticking with me if not only for the passion of writing, but for the outlook of a magical endeavour too. 
I love Iris and her stubbornness and bravery. And I loved Roman for being fittingly defiant and mettle. Sometimes you have to gather your courage and fight against the odds which like to build barricades between your soul and what they think is right (if it makes sense). 

Thank you for giving me some magic to hold on to and a box filled with courage, Rebecca. I will never forget it.
