Red Fox: An Experiment in Terror Novel by Karina Halle

4.0

I really enjoyed this continuation of Perry's and Dex's adventures. This time, they are investigating strange happenings at a farm in New Mexico. The only weird thing was that they were here to film, but they didn't do much filming. The story evolved more around their investigation and getting to know each other better. There's lots of sexual tension here!

I loved the smooth flow of the writing and easy readability. Sometimes it's hard to get into first person writing, but the author captures Perry's voice exceedingly well. Dex is certainly growing on me, but Perry continues to be awesome. This is a series I definitely plan to continue reading!

NOTE: I saw a few editing errors, such as strikeouts left in the Kindle version and one sentence that was not completely edited (i.e., to remove the word being replaced). Paragraphs were not indented, but they were separated by a blank line, so that made this book MUCH easier to read than the first one.
