Loved this overall. Wish I had it when I was younger. Maybe some queer cliches and young adult vibes but overall beautiful and complex characters who are figuring out how to love each other and process trauma, etc. Queer community building and the exploration of female friendships that grow apart were my fave parts. Dealt with heavy stuff in a way that still felt okay (and perfect??) to read on the beach.
