The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon by Brad Stone

4.0

I found this book to be incredibly interesting. I am sure in every corporate environment there are upset people, who will complain about the boss. In this case, it appears that Bezos isn't really hiding his expectations or parameters. He wants to minimize costs at all points where money is spent.

I found this book to be both a great corporate biography/history, as well as an interesting look at the different management styles utilized over the history of the company as it evolved. I understand that Amazon is Bezos and vice versa, but I didn't find that I learned too much about Bezos. There were facts, but not a true personal biography, other than background and Jeffisms. I liked that.
