Echoes of a Boy by Richard Godfray-Hoare

1.0

I had this in my TBR list for a while but it was not what I expected. The writing was great but it is not style of writing I tend to read. The author is reviewing his own work that he wrote in his teens. We get to read each chapter of his book but the author lost me when he analyses each chapter. He tries to remember what happened at that time of his life that would relate to what his younger self has written. I found myself being lost very often for what I did read of the book.

I see this as a more of a autobiography of the author.

Personally, I am not a big fan of autobiographies because I prefer getting lost in the storyline of a fictional novel, but the book may be of interest to those that do like that style of writing.
