The End of Eternity
by Isaac Asimov
This was my first Asimov novel (though I've read essays and short stories), so I wasn't completely sure what to expect. It is primarily a "thinker" so if you want a lot of action, look elsewhere. I'm a smart girl, so I enjoyed the circular reasoning in exploring time travel and its paradoxes and theories. However, it sometimes made even MY brain hurt, so I had to put it down more often than I would have liked. Although I can't flat out say it was BORING, I was pretty apathetic most of the time. I didn't even care that the main character fell in love or anything about their relationship - and that's the driving point for the book's main conflict! However, one little line on p. 190 (of 192) made me say, "Whoah!" and kept me from feeling like reading the book was a complete waste of time.
