Love Beyond Body, Space & Time by Hope Nicholson
4.0
Borrowed this anthology from a friend, devoured it in the span of two days, and not a single story was a miss for me! Well, the one about the coma had a twist I didn't like but only because I have seen other media do the same twist in a much better way
I loved how well rounded each short story is in this anthology. Each had its own unique scifi spin and featured so many different LGBTQIA2S+ identities so you never knew what to expect jumping from one story to the next! And all written by Indigenous authors on top of everything 🙏
If I had to pick a favorite, “Né Łe!” by Darcie Little Badger (a sapphic romance featuring dogs in space) and “Transitions” by Gwen Brenaway (a trans woman’s musings about medical transition and Indigenous identity) were both pretty big standouts for me!
