When the Sky Falls by Phil Earle
4.0
Bullet review:
+Realistic, likable characters.
+The relationships between the characters are the highlights of the story. Very well-written.
+A gripping and emotional tale.
+I genuinely really liked the bond between Joseph and the gorilla Adonis. I was afraid it might become too close to too anthropomorphized, but their bond feels genuine like realistic. They both respect each other a whole lot and care for each other, but they're not best buddies, either.
-Ending is very abrupt. Maybe this works for some people but it didn't for me.
