Oh this was so cute and sweet. I've been a huge fan of anthologies and short story collections recently and after a brief few fantasy binge, this is the light hearted read I needed. Filled with a diverse cast of characters, 13 authors compile 13 captivating stories for you to stay Up All Night reading. And I just nearly did!

I think when I first picked it up I was expecting it to be a bunch of stories, slightly related, maybe a reoccurring character or two, all from one night; but the reality of this short story collection felt more authentic, touching, and relatable. Each chapter brought about a new set of characters, a new problem, a new crush, and a new perspective of being in high school. I was brought right back to age 17 while reading these, and, for the most part, I mean the happy memories. Some of these stories are funny, some are sad, some are heavy, and others are romantic. Each author brings a genuine atmosphere of growing up to their story, and all of the challenges we face as we come of age.

I received an ARC of Up All Night from a Goodreads Giveaway (I'm sorry it took me so long to read it 💖)
