Precious Little by Sue Moss, Julie Hunt

4.0

The spectacularly sparkly cover is an instant drawcard. Precious LIttle wants to be an acrobat / trapeze artist, but she is only a stagehand. Given the chance, she accepts Risk in order to achieve her dream. The tyography and layout follow the action and illustrations - but sometimes are just slightly off, not quite in the lines as it were - which is disconcerting. And, although it emphasises the movement of the characters and story, having the direction of the text change - sideways, upside down - makes it very trick to read to a group.
