Initially, I was very underwhelmed by this book. I came in with "eh" expectations, but I was actually pretty blown away from how this was written. Nathan Byrn is a very complex character, as he just really wants to fit in but his half-sister is not allowing him to. Honestly, he should have killed her when he had the chance. At the end, Rose even had me convinced that Gabriel and Nathan should be together. I want it to happen. NOW.
