我的天才女友 by Elena Ferrante
5.0
I often times have a difficult time explaining why I like something, and trying to describe what I felt about this book is definitely one of those times. To start, I loved it. I couldn't put it down. I think it's the relatability of the narrator, Elena. Her raw honesty when describing the emotions that are so tied up in relationships - with her family, her childhood cohort, and most of all, with her closest friend, Lila. It's all very quotidian while projecting this captivating, unpredictable story that completely absorbed me. I was wondering if I should set aside my current reading list to finish off this series, and I'm heading to the library right now to get the other three Neopolitan Novels.
