Not the best book in the series but still a good ending. Not all questions are answered (or at least mine weren't) but it is nice in that the open ending(s) give the reader the choice to draw his/her own conclusions. There is not a finality to this book, it leaves open the possibility for spinoffs (which was maybe the point?) but either way it feels like the characters continue to live on which is nice because sometimes when a great series ends I feel like the characters end as well, and that is not what happened here at all!
All in all Ms. Day did Eva and Gideon proud, the culmination of all their work throughout the other books really shows in this book both in the strengthening of their relationship with each other as well as their relationships with various family members/friends. Eva and Gideon definitely got the ending they deserved!
