This book was pure teen/preteen brain candy. There was a fair amount of cussing which was supposed to be funny because one of the aliens kept using the wrong cuss words in the wrong situations. The book reminded me a lot of Eight Grade Bites by Heather Brewer but with aliens instead of vampires. There was lots of kissing that makes me think that the book was an attempt to appeal to both preteen genders but I don't think the boys will like that part of it too much. All in all I'd say this would be a book easy to pass up and read something else instead.
