Lol it was actually quite good? The nonjudgemental and easy-going MC made the book really enjoyable -- I think her mindset about sex is really healthy and open-minded, and the tone works well with the mindset the genre should promote.
The writing was also another element of surprise; it started off rlly strong w unexpected humor, IMO much better than some of the romance I've read recently. Unfortunately the quality fell as the book progressed. For one thing, The author rlly wants you to know that she's a feminist "who has taken gender studies classes". In fact, she explicitly says it multiple times in the most random of situations to push away her guilt for enjoying supposedly anti-feminist things like men paying for the first date, depictions of cruel women, and men taking the sexual lead. This becomes more frequent towards the end and was mildly irksome. Also, the lvl of detail I appreciated in the beginning became progressively less apparent. Shame, but that's just about the only shame the book's associated with.
