The Financial Lives of the Poets by Jess Walter

4.0

Not a profound book but one I will remember for hitting me at the right time in my life. Like a Tom Perrotta book, this one is about a regular family that is just one decision or one paycheck from disaster. Don't we all feel that way from time to time? I found myself thinking that the main character should decide differently, or that I would do THIS if I were in his shoes. I found the mental exercise of this fascinating.
