The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule

challenging dark emotional mysterious sad tense medium-paced

5.0

I reread The Stranger Beside Me for our book club. I forgot how tragic this story was. Not for Ted Bundy but for Anne Rule herself.
She was strung along for years believing in the Ted she thought she knew. When she finally realized he wasnt - devastating.
The Stranger Beside Me is excellently written and in my top five of the best true crime ever published.
