Could an anarchist society actually... work? I wish more people knew about this book. It should be considered as one of the great novels of the 20th century, and even if you're not a sci-fi reader, it's worth picking up. Le Guin examines the possibility of an anarcho-communist utopia with groudbreaking insight, fairness, and intelligence. But it is also a brilliant story of hope, progress, challenge, revolution, love, and the power of ideas. Truly extraordinary.
