This book to me is a Cinderella retelling where Eden is at times Cinderella and other times the Fairy Godmother. 

There is an added storyline that reminds me of The Batchelor reality show. Prince Evander is to pick his bride from 20 eligible young ladies. Eden being one of them. 

Dorian is the Knight in shining armor role but is a bit of a bad boy also. He is Prince Evanders right hand man. He meets Eden when due to her circumstances is forced to get a room at the local tavern before the ball where the 20 top contenders are chosen. 

There is a prophecy that the prince’s bride will kill him and rule the kingdom.

I really enjoyed this book and watching Eden grow confidence. Watching Prince Evander reveal his evilness and watching Dorian fall in love with Eden. 

Read the book to read all the twists and turns and who survives this retelling.
