𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 was an amazing ending to an extraordinary series!
Ben and Gabby's story was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Like every other Jewel. E. Ann book that I have read in the past, 𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 took me on an emotional ride.
Have you ever found yourself reading a book, and then you realize you have stopped breathing; and that your heart is aching? Have you ever been so engrossed in the story that you begin to feel every single emotion that the characters are feeling? Has your heart ever broken for a character, so much so that you wish you could go through the pages and give them the love and encouragement that they so desperately needed?
Jewel E. Ann did that for me in 𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤. As an author, she does an exceptional job drawing you in and making you fall in love with the characters, and when their heart breaks, your heart breaks. When their souls are tortured, so are yours. You are rooting for them and when they are in pain, it is enough to make you lose your breath! There were so many gut-wrenching and tear-jerking moments for me while reading in 𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤! I expected that, having read other books from this author, but every time it happens, I almost have to catch myself and recover a little.
What I love about this author is just how human and raw and real her characters are. Ben and Gabby as characters were just perfection. At just 19-years-old, the strength with which they faced life, and its lessons was inspiring. I loved that they did not always make the right decisions. I loved that they were flawed and true to themselves. I loved their friendship, their chemistry, their love, their devotion to one another. It was just all so beautiful!
𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 was anything but predictable. Just when I thought I knew how things would go, a wrench would be thrown in. There were so many shocking moments and twists and turns in this story.
With every word, every sentence, every chapter, I wanted more and before I knew it, I had read the entire book. I just could not put it down! I am so thankful for this series and yet I am so sad to see it end. Sarah, Eve, and Gabby will always have a special place in my heart. I feel like I watch them grow up, like they were a part of my family. They were so inspirational. Their stories broke my heart but put it back together again and, in the end, healed so many broken parts of me.
𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 was an amazing read that I highly recommend!
