Neutral Zone is the final book in the Carolina Comets series. It is also the first book of the series I have read. I kept looking for it after seeing a tik tok about it without writing down the title. I was so excited when I finally found it.

Fitz is a loveable, toothless cat dad who also happens to be a player for the Carolina Comets hockey team.  He is quiet and has a secret not many people know. Rosie is a formerly insecure, bubbly little baker who is putting herself through college by moonlighting as a camgirl. Little does she know her favorite subscriber is none other than the sweet hockey player who comes to get coffee and a strawberry donut every day.

The two start a romantic relationship (obviously) and all is well until Rosie finds out that Fitz is the kind subscriber to her cam girl channel.

This book is a slow burn and while not the spiciest - the chemistry between the MCs is there. You can tell that although they are both kind of awkward, they truly like each other and are willing to come out of their shells for the other.

I do however wish the author had played more on Fitzyโ€™s voyeurism fetish more after the two of them had gotten together instead of it being the focus for like half the book then kind of forgotten.

Overall it was a quick and fun read worth a solid four stars.
