This book is more of a slow burn thriller, but it was needed to tell the backstory of the main characters and it picked up pace during the second half. The main 2 characters, Tansy and Selene, were best friends 20 years ago. A traumatic event tore them apart and they lost contact until Selene shows up on Tansy's doorstep asking to help her daughter, Jupiter.
It is a thriller about female friendship, mental illness, and how far friends will go to protect each other. There are so many plot twists in this book it had me hooked and I didn't want to put the book down! I could not recommend this more if you are a fan of thrillers.
