The Lost Future of Pepperharrow by Natasha Pulley

i nearly threw my phone at the end of this book. i was so damn close to it.

just like in book 1, mori is always one step ahead, even when he doesn’t consciously know where he’s walking. this book hurt in a lot of ways and confused me in even more, but the ending made everything worth it. it was much much much better than book one; better paced, less confusing, clearer time jumps and skips, clearer relationships, kinder people. still emotionally painful (what, did you imagine dating someone who’s basically a god would be easy?), i still never knew what would happen next, but it was more securely in thaniel’s pov and definitely had more clarity than book one. would read again, honestly even just for Six and katsu.
