Pretty intense book. Not knowing a lot about life in the Sahara, I feel this could have been written at any time and I would have made sense of it. Knowing it was over 30 years ago is crazy to think.
So many interesting journeys, interesting people she met, and how people live their life in basically isolation, so far away from civilisation almost. Fascinating. How strong of a woman this lady was in incredible, I don’t know if I would have the strength and gumption to move all the way to the Sahara.
Really good read, a wonderful insight into such different lives.
