Yes, Chef
by Marcus Samuelsson
I usually don't choose audiobooks that are this long but from the first 5 mins of this book I knew I wanted this book to last as long as possible. The descriptions of spices and dishes, especially once Chef Marcus gets out on the road and to New York will make you hungry no matter the time of day. His family, made by choice and chance, is one of the most beautiful parts of the book. His unflinching way of showing his mistakes is surprising from someone who spends much of his life trying to look stronger than he is. I have so much love for this book and I cannot wait to get to Red Rooster.
