The Bright Forever
by Lee Martin
The first few chapters of the book were very well written and I was excited to start reading it. As I got into however, it just got worse and worse. It was impossible to feel any empathy toward many of the characters and most of the story seemed to come from the viewpoint of Mr. Dees who I felt no empathy for. I wasn't at all surprised by the ending, and it took forever to get to it.
