The Black Coats by Colleen Oakes

4.0

I debated between giving this book three or four stars for a while, but after reading the author's note I decided that it deserves that fourth star. Though Thea annoyed me at times (mainly because of the way she treated her boyfriend, Drew), The Black Coats was a powerful story. It really did shine a light on the morality of vigilante justice, which I constantly went back and forth on throughout the reading process. I absolutely adored the ending of this book (no spoilers), but it was perfect.
