10/10 do recommend

This was the first book I e read of this series. I wasn’t confused at all. Elise did a great job of explaining who everyone was and how they were connected.

The book starts out with a bang but not the kinda bang I was expecting!
It’s definitely clear that this is a motorcycle club romance.

I loved the competency in this book. Everyone is so skilled and knowledgeable and talented.
I loved how Paige’s education and accomplishments were shown and she was on page doing her job.

Her and Demo were so cute together. Their banter was my favorite! They fit each other so well and not just in a body way.

I loved how much Demo loved Paige. I loved how they set realistic boundaries around the kids. Their relationship moved fast af but the intentional way Demo and Paige were cultivating their new dynamic with the kids was so refreshing to see.

The reason this book doesn’t have a higher rating is because of the way the foot model gig was portrayed. The shame, the turmoil, and all of that really put a damper on how capable Paige was; in my opinion.

Paige was in an impossible situation and was doing her best to make it through and better for her and her family by any means necessary. That should’ve been a point of pride and showed resilience but instead it was all very negative and sad.

I would absolutely recommend this book to others. This could be someone’s next 5 star read.
