I read the physical copy of this book back in 2018 and loved it. After enjoying Adam Kay’s most recent book release, I decided to return to this in audiobook form and it was just as good as the first time around (especially seeing as I had an emergency c-section last year so a lot of this felt far more personal!)
It is deeply sad that 5 years down the line, the NHS is in even worse shape and our government is even more of a shambles. Anyone who has the nerve to complain about the NHS staff strikes needs to have this book thrown at their head at high speed.
