This was sweet, but that’s really all it was.
I had a little issue with the way some stuff was written in here, like when Sienna mentioned what the translation for chancla was in her head. She wouldn’t be providing an internal translation in her head, so the voice of the heroine felt off to me at some points because of that.
Also it’s weird how instalove this was in general, she wants to be a good role model for Latina women on the big screen but falls for the first guy she sees in the Appalachia?? Lmfao
However overall this book was really sweet, but kind of boring at spots. It’s a good audio to listen to pass the day though, and sometimes it was so sweet it made me smile. I LIKED Sienna I just think she would have been better with another writer. So yeah, to me it’s better than Book 1 but still very okay.
