I never thought that I would enjoy a book that involves romance so much. The way that Sanderson writes Yumi and Painter’s relationship is so beautiful and well crafted. This is definitely my favorite of the secret projects and probably my second favorite Sanderson book. I always love hoid as a narrator to turn any book into a bit more lighthearted and funny. It was just an amazing book, great pacing, and wonderful story with a deeper meaning. I love the last line of the book. “Things only have the value we give them. And likewise, actions can be worth whatever we decide them to be worth”. Some gold nuggets of quotes in this book.
