After binging the entirety of Stranger Things in under a week, my hyperfixation hasn't been fed enough so I decided to snag the book on one of my favorite characters first... plus this is the only book I think has mention of my problematic fav so that helps.

This is honestly a great way to peer deeper into Max's character and I think everything is pretty true to her. She wasn't a big part in season two, having just been introduced, so having more insight on what was going on with her both before her move to Hawkins and during times (both on and off screen) in the Stranger Things town was really cool. Most of the scenes featured in the show were cut short in a way that allowed those who watch it to reminisce while not getting tired of the repetition.

I always love when shows and movies have additional media to explore, so expect more Stranger Things books on my timeline!
