Ghosts of the Tsunami: Death and Life in Japan’s Disaster Zone by Richard Lloyd Parry

challenging dark emotional informative sad slow-paced

5.0

Oh. My. God. My. Heart. What a heart-wrenching account of the tsunami and its victims and survivors. This was a difficult read emotionally, but I am so glad I finally picked it up. So many stages of grief were encapsulated here, it really gave the whole tragic event a really human feel to it, not just statistics and cold hard facts. I need a hug after this one.
