This is not going to come across nicely but I am so sorry - this was so so painful. This book reads like a map of Greater Boston - “I turned left on Neposonet street and then right at the dunks” and on and on and on. The Boston accents and Boston-isms were cringe worthy. This book spent 9 hours of an audiobook trying to get the main character to a place to have her baby and not die of the virus, when she just dies anyway. What did I read this for? What did I learn? So harsh but that’s what I’ve got lol
