Nic and Cam go after the mobster targeting Nic. Final book! Nic is in his element here - brilliant and lethal, and Cam is also a total badass. But surfacing ghosts of the past means it's Nic's turn to struggle, but Cam is there every single step of the way, holding him up and loving him in all ways. Though Nic's past tangling with his present also meant that Cam faced some uncertainties of his own, and I loved how Nic grounds him by harnessing the strength of their love for each other. I ate up all the tender and sweet moments between them! 

Despite all the shit thrown at them, they remain so in love and so devoted, it's just beautiful. I did wish for more sexy times though! 😂 The suspense/action is nail-biting, and Aidan/Jamie (♥) + the family remain 💯 amazing. Aidan and Nic's BFF-ness was a highlight, too!
