Swept Away is a forced proximity romance/thriller with a difference! Lexi and Zeke have a one night stand full of drunken passion having met in the pub. They head back to Zeke's homeboat that he has just purchased and when they wake up in the morning they're floating in the middle of the sea with virtually no provisions, no knowledge of how to sail and with a person each of them doesn't really know. How long will they need to survive before they are rescued?

I loved this book! Both characters are strong and vulnerable in different ways, and the longer they stay at sea and have to rely on each other, the more that becomes apparent. They're both running away from problems and with nowhere to go and no phone signal they start to confront them and grow closer to each other in the process.

The twists and turns of survival really make this a much more engaging read than if it was just a pure romance, and I honestly didn't see the biggest twists coming.  It's a great plot, well executed!
My only complaint was the volume of the male narrator was a little low and hard to hear, and if I turned it up, the female one then deafened me on her chapters (not the fault of the book of course, just an observation!).
